Mother of twins declines media

CALGARY - A patient at Calgary's Foothills Medical Centre who is the focus of media attention concerning the birth of twins is asking the media to respect her wishes for privacy.
The woman will not be speaking to media.
Additionally, in accordance with the family's wishes, no still or electronic images of the patient or the infants will be made available.
The family has agreed to issue a patient condition update for media. At this time, the mother and two infants are in good condition.
