Healthcare Heroes

Healthcare Heroes

In an organization of 99,000 dedicated health professionals, working in over 400 facilities supported by more than 64 foundations and health trusts, our number one priority is improving patient care. We are focused on delivering what Albertans have said they want – a system focused first on patients and their families. We are working to build the best performing health system in the country - one that is accessible to every Albertan, no matter where they live, and provides high quality patient care every day.

With this commitment deeply embedded in AHS, it’s no surprise we find stories of healthcare heroes working among us – people who are doing extraordinary things to care for our patients and their families, today and tomorrow.

Here are a few of their stories.
